OUR MISSION IS TO PREVENT AND END HOMELESSNESS

We are proud to be the leader in developing permanent, supportive affordable housing in Fairfield County. While our emergency shelters provide a haven for homeless individuals in our community, your continued support is vital to us and, more importantly, to the homeless people of our community: the men, women, and children that need our help the most!

We can’t wait to share with you our extraordinary efforts to quickly secure housing for individuals and families in need, and divert others from descending into homelessness. Your support is critical to continuing our mission, and you have the power to help people that are in need in our community who turn to us as a last resort and a new beginning.

This evening we will recognize our 2022 Community Partner Award Honorees for their overwhelming assistance. We look forward to having you join our celebration, our largest fundraiser of the year.

Together we are providing a solution to homelessness.

2022 HONOREE

Pacific House is proud to recognize Kenneth G. Tropin as the Honoree of our 21st annual Fall Celebration.

Mr. Tropin has been instrumental in helping us achieve growth and continuous advancement of our mission to prevent and end homelessness.

A donor since 2004, Mr. Tropin generously supports our Gala events at the Leadership Sponsor level through his Orchard Farm Foundation, contributes an annual gift for our Holiday Appeal, and helped with the mortgage for Beacon House, one of our first affordable supportive housing properties.

His belief in our mission enables us to continue to evolve to meet the changing needs of Fairfield County’s homeless individuals. We are thankful for his support for the work we do in our community.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE AWARD

Food Rescue has supported Pacific House shelter for many years. Since the Development Department began to manage our Meal-a-Month Program in April 2020 at the onset of the pandemic, Food Rescue helped our agency with individualized meals for our guests who relocated to two hotels for social distancing measures. They continue to this day supporting us with meals.

Food Rescue and its outreach volunteers work with local schools, businesses, and agencies, making meaningful food connections.

Food Rescue, Fairfield County -Community Partner

Due to their integrity, influence, and trust in our community, Pacific House receives thousands of meal contributions to help with our shelter food insecurity.

Food Rescue not only makes a difference in eliminating food waste in landfills but they help improve our clients' lives. The food delivered to Pacific House is high quality and fresh, providing our clients with the necessary nutrition. Once basic needs are no longer a worry, and our shelter clients have a bed to sleep in, a hot shower, and food, they can concentrate on forging ahead to take the steps necessary to secure housing and realize their potential.
