The spirit of giving was on full display at this year's Shippan Turkey Trot! Despite the rainy weather, our community came together for a meaningful Thanksgiving morning tradition that exemplifies the power of collective impact. Homelessness in Connecticut Continues to Rise. Connecticut's annual point-in-time count revealed a 13% increase in homelessness, with 3,410 individuals experiencing homelessness as of January 2024. This marks the third consecutive year of rising numbers.
