Celebrating a Season of Joy and Community at Pacific House

Holiday Merriment and Festive Decor

Thanks to the artistic talents of volunteer Bob Newton from Darien, one of our affordable housing properties sparkled with holiday spirit. Adorned with beautiful greenery and ribbons donated by Nielsen's Florist & Garden Shop, and with the help of Justin Maccarone and Gloria Jackson, this gorgeous display brought smiles to our residents and neighbors.

Baskets of Hope: A Warm Welcome Home

Imagine the excitement of moving into a new home. Thanks to Temple Sinai, Lisa and Grant Silver, this became a reality for our clients transitioning to their new apartments. Nine 'Baskets of Hope' filled with essentials were lovingly donated, making their first steps into a new life even more special.

Generous Hearts and Full Pantries

A heartfelt thank you to the young friends from Pierrepont School in Westport, especially to student Joseph Marous, who, alongside our Housing Coach Mohammad Mamun, personally delivered much-needed groceries. This generous act ensures that our clients in Norwalk and at the Stamford shelter have access to nourishing meals during this holiday season. Your kindness truly makes a difference in our community.

A Touch of Holiday Magic: The Tradition of the Welcome Wreath

Tom Riles, along with the Christ Church Greenwich team, have brought their annual tradition to life once more, infusing our shelter with a festive and heartwarming atmosphere. This year, the centerpiece of their efforts - a beautifully crafted welcome wreath - was proudly displayed by Frank Knight at the front desk, alongside Tom. This wreath, symbolizing hope and joy, added a special touch of holiday spirit to the building.

Holiday Magic Through Generosity

In a wonderful surprise, Anne Quinn and Joe Dineen paid a visit to Jenn Broadbin at Pacific House, bringing with them a delightful gift - a new TV for a client's apartment, generously donated by Vito Tiriolo. This kind-hearted gesture creates a homey atmosphere for our clients, allowing them to truly enjoy the holiday season in their new homes.

Norwalk Lights Up: A Festive Haven

The holiday spirit is shining bright at our Norwalk affordable housing property! Thanks to the imaginative efforts of volunteer John Wall and Michelle Fanwick, the residence has been transformed into a dazzling festive haven. Their creative touch has filled the air with joy and holiday spirit, turning the property into a winter wonderland that warms the hearts of everyone who enters.

Festive Flair

This holiday season, our very own Director of Development, Michelle Fanwick, brought festive cheer to one of our affordable housing homes in Stamford. Creative talents shone brightly as she adorned the residence with holiday decorations, transforming it into a beacon of joy and warmth.

Embracing Warmth: More Than Just Coats

A massive shoutout of gratitude to Jose Sarti and Jonathan Witts from Todd Snyder in Greenwich, CT, along with One Warm Coat, for their extraordinary generosity this winter. They've collectively donated over 100 high-quality coats, creating a wave of warmth for our clients. Each coat represents much more than physical warmth; it's a symbol of care, a protective embrace against the cold, and a tangible expression of community support. These coats are not just garments; they're beacons of hope, ensuring that everyone facing the harsh winter feels the warmth of a community that truly cares.

Enchanting Elegance: A Green and Red Wonderland

Volunteer Bob Newton, with the support of Nielsen's Florist & Garden Shop, has worked his magic again, transforming one of our properties into an enchanting green and red wonderland. This festive paradise not only brightens the holidays for our clients and staff but also adds a touch of elegance and joy to the entire community. Gloria Jackson and Christopher Calderone, Pacific House staff, show off Bob’s handiwork.
