Gratitude Overflows at Pacific House this Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving Lisa,
As we gather to celebrate Thanksgiving, our hearts are filled with gratitude for supporters like you who make Pacific House's mission possible. Your compassion and generosity continue to transform lives in our community.
Join our CEO and President Carmen Colón and Director of Development Michelle Fanwick as they celebrate community spirit at the Shippan Turkey Trot, and watch our staff share in fellowship at our annual Thanksgiving potluck! Special thanks to Elizabeth King, our Ancillary Program Manager & Training Coordinator, and the T.E.A.M committee for organizing this wonderful gathering.
Community Champions Making a Difference
The spirit of giving is alive and well in our community! We're thrilled to highlight some incredible initiatives:
Shippan Turkey Trot 2024 Carmen and Michelle joined hundreds of community members at this remarkable event that has raised over $90,000 for Pacific House since 2008. Every penny donated goes directly to supporting our mission.
East School's Young Philanthropists We're touched by the generosity of East School's first and second graders in New Canaan. Teacher Janet McMullen and her husband Jr. delivered 16 boxes of essential items that will help us serve more people during the cold winter months.
Pre-Thanksgiving Meal Service
A heartfelt thank you to Marc Malloy and the junior members of the Stamford Yacht Club, who gave their time to serve meals at our shelter the night before Thanksgiving.
As winter approaches and our shelter population increases, your support becomes even more crucial.
Every donation helps us provide:
Warm meals
Safe shelter
Essential supplies
Support services
Hope for a better tomorrow
““Together, we’re not just providing shelter – we’re building futures and strengthening our community,” says Carmen Colón. “Your support makes this possible.””
From all of us at Pacific House, we wish you and your loved ones a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with joy and gratitude.
Mark your calendar for December 3rd and join our mission to prevent and end homelessness in Fairfield County. Every gift, no matter the size, helps create hope and transform lives.
With gratitude!
