The ribbon cutting for our newest deeply affordable housing property – the Janie Wilson House!

On September 27, 2019, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to introduce the newest permanent supportive housing unit owned and operated by Pacific House. Located in a historic district in Stamford, this beautiful new property will be home to those in need. Tenants pay 30% of their income towards rent, and Pacific House provides supportive services such as case management, employment, and health care assistance, and help receiving benefits. This arrangement creates cost savings for taxpayers and strengthens our community with more stable, healthy and productive citizens. Seila Mosquera-Bruno, Commissioner, Connecticut Department of Housing and Stamford’s Mayor Martin helped to celebrate this special moment.
