Welcome Silvia Narvaez, Our New Chief Programming Officer at Pacific House!

Silvia Narvaez recently joined Pacific House as the Chief Programming Officer, and she is thrilled to become a part of this dedicated team. Silvia brings a wealth of experience and a passionate commitment to equity and human rights for the unhoused population. She is a results-driven advocate with a strong background in nonprofit management, case management, and customer service. Her expertise includes strategic planning, creative problem-solving, and a deep understanding of the homeless housing industry.
Throughout her career, Silvia has worked and volunteered with several notable organizations, including Malta House, Mercy Learning Center, CIRI, Beth El Center, and most recently, Alpha Community Services YMCA.
Originally from Ecuador, South America, Silvia completed her formal education there, earning a bachelor's degree in clinical psychology. In 2004, she moved to New York, where she embraced the opportunity to learn about diverse cultures and advance her career in the social service field.
Silvia is currently pursuing a Graduate Leadership Certificate and plans to continue her studies towards an MBA at Post University. She is also connected with the Housing and Community Development and Leadership Institute, where she continues to enhance her skills and knowledge of the housing industry.
Silvia moved to CT in 2007 and is currently a Shelton resident. Outside of her professional endeavors, Silvia enjoys gardening, beach walks, and watching her sons' hockey games. Married and a mother of two boys, she values family time and community involvement.
Silvia is excited to be part of the Pacific House team and is dedicated to working collaboratively to end homelessness in the community.
