A Message from Our President & CEO, Carmen I. Colón

Dear Pacific House Community,

We are excited to share a special message from our President & CEO, Carmen I. Colón, who has been leading Pacific House for the past few months. With over 30 years of experience in providing services to the homeless population and creating permanent supportive housing, Carmen’s leadership brings a renewed focus and energy to our mission to prevent and end homelessness in Fairfield County.

In the video below, Carmen shares her passion for housing development and her gratitude to the Pacific House community. Please take a moment to hear directly from her as she talks about her vision for the future of our organization and the invaluable contributions of our supporters, staff, and volunteers.

Carmen has been instrumental in developing innovative solutions to address homelessness throughout her career. Before joining Pacific House, she made significant strides in the nonprofit sector, overseeing an extensive permanent supportive housing portfolio and ensuring that individuals and families had the resources they needed to rebuild their lives.

She shares the same deep commitment that Pacific House has upheld for decades—ensuring that every person who comes through our doors finds not only a service but a home.

In Carmen’s own words: "Together, we have the power to make a real and lasting impact on the lives of those in need. By providing safe and stable housing with tailored supportive services that meet the unique needs of each individual, we can help those experiencing homelessness rebuild their lives and achieve lasting independence."

As we continue to work toward our vision, Carmen's leadership has been invaluable over these past few months. We are confident her dedication will inspire continued growth, and together, we will build on our past success to provide hope, stability, and homes to those who need them most.

We look forward to having you join us in this journey under Carmen's leadership.

Thank you for your ongoing support and commitment to Pacific House.
