On June 26, 2024, Pacific House had the pleasure of hosting a remarkable event, "Timeless Traditions: A Gathering of the Minds," at the elegant residence of Jane Selden in Riverside, Connecticut. This special evening was an opportunity to bring together our community, sponsors, and donors to share in our mission and vision of ending homelessness in Fairfield County. The event also marked the introduction of our new President & CEO, Carmen ColΓ³n, to the Pacific House family.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, filled with delightful company, hors d'oeuvres, and a selection of refreshing beverages. Our esteemed guests, including past and current board members, engaged in meaningful conversations about our ongoing projects and future plans. The support and presence of our attendees underscored the collective commitment to making a difference in the lives of those we serve.

"The faces of homelessness are rapidly changing from what we thought were individuals  suffering from mental health issues to individuals who are working every single day and really not being able to afford a place that they can go home. Therefore, I thank every single one of you for being here today. When I talk about housing development, it is the most opportune time for all of us to be in housing development as we have an amazing partner in our Commissioner of Housing, Seila Mosquera Bruno." Carmen Colon, President & CEO, Pacific House

Carmen's passion and dedication to our cause are truly inspiring, and her leadership is set to steer Pacific House towards even greater accomplishments. The evening was a testament to the power of community and collaboration in addressing homelessness. We extend our deepest gratitude to Jane Selden for graciously hosting this event and to all our supporters who joined us. Your continued support is vital as we strive to provide safe, affordable housing and supportive services to individuals and families in need. Together, we can transform lives and build a brighter future for our community.

Thank you for being a part of our mission to prevent and end homelessness in Fairfield County, and for helping us uphold the tradition of compassion and commitment that defines Pacific House.

We look forward to many more gatherings, where we can celebrate our achievements and work towards our shared vision of ending homelessness in Fairfield County.
